Ugh, this reminds me of how much problems I have with drawing kisses especially with the one with X and Zero. I do agree with the bodysuits as well. I also prefer to actually draw them without their helmets in intimate situations as well because I can't work without the eyebrows showing.

I've really tried understanding how to draw kisses, but they are still difficult x.X I think it takes a real understanding of the face (beyond the simplified 'anime' face, that is). But yeah, I like them in bodysuits, their clunky armor just get restrictive with intimate poses (like an embrace), and their helmets in particular get in the way. It's really hard to draw them kissing with their helmets on (if not impossible), because majority of 'normal' kissing positions lead to the gems of their helmet hitting and force distance between them and their lips ^^;

I'm really glad you mentioned the eyebrows though, because I feel it's something a lot of artists (especially slash artists) forget the importance of! Without them you can't really emphasis an emotion. Like, there's a difference between an expression that shows passion for the other and say, and expression that shows simple adoration, and simply placing the eyebrows differently can be the single difference in giving off a different 'feel'/emotion. Their helmets blocking their eyebrows really restricts the emotion in their expression, so I personally like drawing them without them on, despite others disliking them that way XD;

Yeah, if you want to draw real kisses you have to go beyond the simplified anime face just like you said. When I was drawing the kissing face I actually had to redraw it like several occasions and that was while using a book with a few kissing positions.^^; I haven't actually tried them kissing with their helmets on. Though I'm positively sure you're right about the gems on their head getting in the way.

Totally I mean it's possible to do it without the eyebrows, but that means you have to tweak the eyes and the mouth and that limits you on how many expressions they can make. Which is why I prefer them off when I have them get their funky on because I have a hard time just drawing sexy faces. :iconragefaceplz:

I always loved your lighting and coloring XD I'm glad to see drawings coming up though! They're nicely done =D Although... I dunno if its the perception or not (could be, I think my eyes are getting worse lol) but X seems really, really skinny o.o But aside from that, woo, X on top! Kinda! Sorta! XD :heart:

But thanks XD I've been fiddling with lighting/colouring, though I still have a fair bit I need to get better at...like always >.>; But This is sort of an old drawing, but I guess posting is still posting? But as for X, I'm not going to say which part has the mistake (cause then otherwise you won't be able to un-see it) but it's moreso something else messing with the perception. But if I dug out the original sketch I'd....redraw the whole thing (I never seem to be able to 'edit' a picture, I get too perfectionist and redo the whole thing ^^;) But hahah, it could be seme!X or dominantuke!X, I was somewhat thinking of seme!X when I originally sketched this though... :giggle:

An old drawing? How old? XD Posting is still posting for sure, cause for us viewers it'd new! =D Its okay to not tell me, I was just pointing out what I saw XD No no don't redraw the whole thing. That's time consuming if an edit is all that's needed... XD So many pros and cons of being a perfectionist. You must drive yourself nuts lol Seme!X oooo... yknoooooow who that reminds me of? XDD lmao so much to do when home... and that's not including the rest of my nursing crap :T Oh well lol Hope all is well with you girlie! Be back in the States soon... and thus online. XD I miss sitting on my butt in front of a computer. And writing. With A/C. And stuff. lol I got lots of stories to tell though, so entertainment for you soon =P See ya then!

Uhh, it'd be a few weeks old now? It was scanned a while ago, but only got coloured the other day XD I'm hoping these holidays (which start at the end of the week, yay!) that I can finish off more of my sketches and splash quick colour on like in this one. But yeah, I won't redraw it, instead I will draw new stuff XD! But oh dear, I hope it's not who I think you're referring to. She makes me hate the idea of X on top! She messed up Zero's personality to self insert her kink into him...she was just way too obsessed with Zero in general (and making X an OOC sadistic dom. 8C like, WUT!? An in character X should be romantic in intimacy, regardless of his 'role' in it, gaaah XD) YOU'VE GOTTEN ME RANTING hahahah, you seem to be good at setting up rant triggers.... XD

But with assessments out of the way I'll be properly using msn again and stuff by the end of this week, so I should be on when you return! But yeeees, writing, you must write! I'm going to bug you like crazy for that Zero/shota!X fic to be finished (I've been on a real Zero/shota!X kick the past few days, doodled it a lot today, actually!) and I want the damn ending to that fic! XD THEY NEED TO FINALLY MAKE BEAUTIFUL LOVE TOGETHER. I also have the time to draw/write very enticing bribes to help you do it, too >.>!

I look forward to your stories about your trip though, should indeed be entertaining! XD

Few weeks ain't too old XD But yay holidays! You need 'em. You work so hard girlie lol But new stuff is good too--new poses, new practice, and all that. And goodness no! I wasn't thinking that at all. XD I was thinking Niseru ROFL I forgot about her til you mentioned it! No no no, in my head, dom!X = Niseru 75% of the time XD Oh Elise lmao what am I to do with you and all your rant triggers? XD But I might bring this up again, your rants about people are hilarious... rofl

LOL YES I WILL FINISH THAT FIC, BY GOD I WILL! But these doodles and enticing bribes. I won't argue them. Oh no. Do bring them on. lmao Goddamn I got a lot to do upon returning home. I can't say the trip's done that much in terms of my inspiration (it's been a lil outright depressing to be here sometime lol ) but I think it made me miss writing enough to get some done.

They shall be entertaining! Especially at my expense. lol The best kind of story XD I'll see you then girlie! :heart:
